Nyah Estevez, Community Organizer

Nyah Estevez is an environmental advocate and grassroots organizer. During her time at SUNY New Paltz, where she pursued a bachelor's degree in Political Science, she quickly became an outspoken activist. She worked on a variety of different environmental justice issues through The Farmworker Law Project at the Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York and NYPIRG’s Environmental Protection Campaign. She is passionate about ending plastic pollution and creating a more just world for the communities that are affected by its production. She loves to make political art and take care of her plants.
