Lee Bell, Science Policy Advisor at IPEN
Lee is the science policy advisor for IPEN (International Pollutants Elimination Network). He has over 20 years of experience in research and analysis of industrial pollution, hazardous waste, incineration, contaminated sites, and persistent organic pollutants.

Judith Enck, President of Beyond Plastics and Former U.S. EPA Regional Administrator
Judith is a dynamic community leader who has spent her expansive career working to protect public health and the environment. She was appointed by President Obama to serve as a regional administrator at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Before that, she was deputy secretary for the environment in the New York governor's office and policy advisor to the state attorney general. Judith is a professor at Bennington College, where she teaches classes on plastic pollution and was a visiting scholar at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Judith was appointed by the governor of New Jersey to serve on the state’s Plastic Advisory Council. 

Jennifer Congdon, Deputy Director at Beyond Plastics
Jennifer is the deputy director of Beyond Plastics. She is a thoughtful and pragmatic, organization-building professional with 25 years of experience working in environmental policy, campaigns, government, nonprofit management, and fundraising. Congdon served as assistant secretary for the environment in the New York Governor’s Office from 2008 to 2010. She has been passionate about protecting the environment and being an activist since the age of 8, when she convinced her parents to participate in the boycott of McDonald's to end their use of polystyrene. It worked! The company phased out the practice in 1990. She still believes that one person can make a difference and is in awe of the power of collective action.
