The Perils of PVC Plastic Pipes: A Free Beyond Plastics Webinar

**This event has passed but you can watch the recording here or via the embedded video below**

Congress and President Biden have allocated $15 billion in funding to help communities across the country remove water pipes made of toxic lead that deliver drinking water to homes, schools, and businesses. Beyond Plastics, Environmental Health Sciences, and Plastic Pollution Coalition have published a new report urging local governments not to replace lead water service lines with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic pipes due to concerns about the health impacts of PVC plastic.

Join Beyond Plastics at 7:00 PM ET US on Thursday, April 27 for a free educational webinar on the perils of PVC plastic pipes featuring Shanna Swan, Ph.D., an environmental and reproductive epidemiologist and a professor of environmental medicine and public health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, Judith Enck, former U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regional administrator and president of Beyond Plastics, and Mike Schade, director of Toxic-Free Future’s Mind the Store campaign.
