CAFETERIA CULTURE’S EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
Host a school-wide or classroom screening of Cafeteria Culture’s documentary film, Microplastic Madness - the inspiring story of 56 fifth graders from P.S. 15 in Red Hook, Brooklyn - living on the frontline of the climate crisis - whose actions on plastic pollution morph into extraordinary leadership and scalable victories. 5 Gyres’s Trash Academy/La Academia de Basura virtual series integrates education, advocacy, and community science with their NGSS-aligned curriculum into a multi-phased educational platform that is available in English and Spanish.
